Day 10 of Partial Reboot

Wednesday was "Day 10" of our Partial Reboot juicing experience! We're doing our best (key word is BEST here) to swap 2 major meals a day with Juice fresh from our Omega Vert juicer. We're now allowing only a vegetarian, or "clean" meal for our other major meal, staying away from too many fats or calories. (Though we are still eating up the remnants of whatever is in the house already, like dairy products, etc.) And we've been allowing small, healthy snacks throughout the day, just as we would enjoy any other day! Our point is to ease into the program, so we're taking our time and working our way into it.


We started with breakfast:
No matter how many orange things are in this drink...

...it still comes out green!
Orange Shmorange
Yields 1 Qt.
1/2 Cantaloupe
2 Oranges
about 8 organic Carrots
about 4 leaves of Kale

We had a sensible Vegetarian lunch, with tofu and veggies, and some light snacks here and there. And for dinner, we tried out the Wheat Grass.

It just looks so peaceful and soft, doesn't it?

Who are we kidding?! Future wheat grass consumption shall be
henceforth LIMITED. Sweet but super grassy!
What Were We Thinking
Yields 1 Qt.
1 Zucchini
2 Golden Delicious Apples
1/2 a large stick of Rhubarb
4 leaves of Kale
1/2 box of Wheat Grass
6-8 Carrots

So we learned today that Wheat Grass is not our thing, and for someone to drink SHOTS of it... Well, more power to ya.
